To design manufacture and install a hoist and beam system to improve the manual handling of the lift drives as and when they fail. The system was completed under a building permit and signed of my a surveyor on completion.
Further works to modify the staircase and landing were completed to ensure when the hoist was utilised the operators had enough space and the fall potential was addressed by the implementation of a fall arrest system.
